Mehlingen Moorland
The Mehlingen Moorland on the Fröhnenhof lies directly next to the Mehlingen community and is accessible by highway 40. The moorland forms the transition from the Palatinate forest into the Palatinate highlands. The hiking loop is about 3.5 kilometers long, meanwhile there is also an approximately 1.5 kilometer long moorland adventure path with information signs and stations. The Mehlingen moorland is connected to the hiking path network of the Palatinate forest. Tours of the moorland are possible at any time.
