Historical Museum of the Palatinate - Speyer
The museum houses six exhibitions over an area of 6000 square meters: prehistoric in the Palatinate, Romans in the Palatinate, Middle Ages and Modern Age as well as the cathedral treasury and the wine museum. An important component of the program of events are the special exhibitions. They have made the Historical Museum of the Palatinate internationally famous beyond frontiers. Today the museum is one of the leading museums in the Rhineland-Palatinate. It is a living museum which, with its many activities, appeals to many groups of the population.
